All pets arriving into Bahrain must do so via Manifest Cargo and import requirements vary depending on your country of departure. In general, pet transport to Bahrain requires an up to date rabies vaccine and other necessary vaccines, including Distemper for dogs and Feline Rhinotracheitis for cats. Pets should have a microchip.
There are several playgroups and meeting places for pets, the online community is vivacious and there is an excellent choice of skilled veterinaries for different specialties.
